Current Studies on Nano-Interface Properties of Organic and Composite Thin Films toward Device/Sensor Applications
Investigating R&D Committee on Nano-Interface Properties of Organic and Composite Thin Films and Device/Sensor Applications
Keyword : organic film, composite film, nano-structure, interface, sensor
Recently, organic electronic devices such as light emitting diodes, transistors and solar cells have been receiving much interests. Furthermore, studies for various organic and inorganic composite films have been reported for device/sensor applications. Furthermore, nano-interface of organic and composite films are quite important for controlling optical and electronic properties. The committee was established in November 2007 and the investigation has focused attention on the functions of nano-structured organic and composite thin films and device applications related to:
1. evaluation techniques for nano-interface between different materials,
2. structure control of nano-interface for organic and composite thin films,
3. electrical and optical properties of organic and composite thin film nano-interface, and
4. device/sensor applications of organic and composite thin films.
The technical report includes the results of the investigation in five chapters, "1. Introduction", "2. Fabrication and evaluation techniques of nano-structure", "3. Nano-interface structure and optical/electronic properties of organic and composite films", "4. Device and sensor applications of organic and composite films", and "5. Summarry"
