Monitoring, diagnosis, and maintenance techniques based on signal and statistical processing of the measured and corrected data for systems such as equipment, device, and living body are utilized in various fields. The aim of this research committee was to develop fundamental techniques that can be effectively utilized for wide-ranging fields and various systems. This research committee was established in December 2014, comprised 28 members dispatched from enterprises and universities to accomplish this task and investigates wide area of monitoring, diagnosis, maintenance and control system security.
In the investigations with respect to the above issues, several important techniques are found and are classified. In this technical report, several topics with respect to techniques for monitoring and diagnosis are summarized.
