\n\u3000The fast-increasing dependence on information and communications technology in the smart gird significantly increases the vulnerabilities with respect to various cyberattacks, such as falsification of control commands and measurement-based attacks. The purpose of this presentation is to discuss computational and testbed-based thodologies to enhance cyber-resilience of transmission, distribution, and substations. An integrated cyber-power system model enables the impact analysis of cyber intrusions on monitoring and control capabilities. In a smart distribution system environment, each node in the distribution system needs an anomaly detection function that is coordinated with other nodes through information sharing and a system-wide mitigation strategy.
\n\u3000Over the last two decades, significant progress has been made in the development of anomaly detection and mitigation capabilities for the cyber-power systems. However, recovery, a critical component of cyber-resilience, is lacking. In this presentation, a new methodology of \u201cconcurrency\u201d as a recovery action for digital substations will be discussed.<\/p>\n
