{"id":507,"date":"2025-02-13T13:02:30","date_gmt":"2025-02-13T04:02:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iee.jp\/en\/?page_id=507"},"modified":"2025-02-13T13:02:30","modified_gmt":"2025-02-13T04:02:30","slug":"transition-to-s1m-e","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.iee.jp\/en\/pub\/transition-to-s1m-e\/","title":{"rendered":"Notice of Transition to ScholarOne Manuscripts<sup>TM<\/sup> for Paper Submission and Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right\">February 13, 2025<\/p>\n<p>\nCurrently, the IEEJ Transactions use the IEEJ&#8217;s proprietary online submission and peer review system.<br \/>\nHowever, on April 1, 2025, we will transition to ScholarOne ManuscriptsTM, provided by Silverchair (with Kyorinsha Co., Ltd. as the Japanese agent).<br \/>\nThe handling of papers submitted before and after April 1, 2025, will be as follows.<br \/>\nWe apologize for any inconvenience this transition may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p-heading-lv2\"><font color=\"0000ff\">For papers submitted by March 31, 2025<\/font><\/h3>\n<li><span style=\"background:linear-gradient(to bottom, rgba(128,255,255,0) 60%, #80ffff 60%);\">Submissions will be processed and reviewed using the IEEJ&#8217;s proprietary online submission and peer review system.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><font color=\"ff0000\">Data will not be transferred to ScholarOne ManuscriptsTM.<\/font><\/li>\n<li>The final manuscript submission, author proofreading, and provision of PDF reprints for papers accepted for publication in Transactions A\u2013E and the Journal of Industry Applications will be conducted via the IEEJ&#8217;s proprietary online submission and peer review system. However, for papers scheduled for publication in January 2026 or later, or those appearing in issues from April 2026 onward, these processes will be conducted using a newly developed author proofreading system.<\/li>\n<li>The final manuscript submission for papers published in IEEJ Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Engineering (TEEE) will also be handled through the IEEJ&#8217;s proprietary online submission and peer review system. However, for papers expected to have their final manuscript submitted in April 2026 or later, submission will be conducted via the new author proofreading system. Author proofreading and the provision of PDF reprints will continue to be handled through Wiley Author Services provided by Wiley &#038; Sons.<\/li>\n<h3 class=\"p-heading-lv2\"><font color=\"0000ff\">For papers submitted on or after April 1, 2025<\/font><\/h3>\n<li><span style=\"background:linear-gradient(to bottom, rgba(128,255,255,0) 60%, #80ffff 60%);\">Submissions will be processed and reviewed via ScholarOne ManuscriptsTM.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>All steps, up to the acceptance or rejection notification, will be conducted through ScholarOne ManuscriptsTM.<\/li>\n<li>The final manuscript submission, author proofreading, and provision of PDF reprints for papers accepted in Transactions A\u2013E and the Journal of Industry Applications will be managed through the newly developed author proofreading system.<\/li>\n<li>The final manuscript submission for papers accepted in TEEE will also be handled through the new author proofreading system.
