Recently, the installation of the battery for the power system has been investigated. This study focuses on the optimal battery assignment method against N-1 line accident, which determines the optimal battery assignment. The authors have proposed the application of the response surface method with the radial basis function networks to the optimal battery assignment and operation problem without the node voltage constraint in order to reduce the number of the power flow calculations. This study applies the proposed method to the optimal assignment and operation problem with the node voltage constraint.
