【演　題】
High Penetration of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) to support Net Zero Emissions by 2050 in Australia
《和訳》オーストラリアにおける2050年までのネットゼロ・エミッションを支える分散型エネルギー資源(DER)の高普及

【概　要】
National Electricity Market in Australia is facing a true transformation, from fossil fuels to renewables,
to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. This transition requires levels of investment in the power system
that exceed all previous efforts combined.
An energy transition at this scale will have significant impacts on all aspects of the power system
but this presentation is mainly focused on distribution networks in Queensland. In 2022,
Queensland government announced an ambitious plan that sets two new renewable energy targets
of 70% by 2032 and 80% by 2035.
To achieve these targets, Queensland’s coal power plants will have to retire by 2036.
And all new car sales should be electric by the same year. Currently, more than 30% of
residential customers in Queensland have rooftop solar PV with the total installed capacity of
close to 4GW and this is expected to double by 2030.
This presentation gives an overview of the current state of the network and unpacks the role of
distribution networks in supporting the “electrify everything” mission in Queensland.

オーストラリアの全国電力市場は、2050年までにネット・ゼロ・エミッションを達成するため、
化石燃料から自然エネルギーへの真の変革に直面している。この転換には、これまでの努力を
すべて合わせた以上のレベルの電力系統への投資が必要である。この規模のエネルギー転換は、
電力系統のあらゆる側面に大きな影響を与えるが、本発表では主にクイーンズランド州の配電網に
焦点を当てる。2022年、クイーンズランド州政府は、2032年までに70％、2035年までに80％という
2つの新しい再生可能エネルギー目標を設定する野心的な計画を発表した。これらの目標を達成する
ためには、クイーンズランド州の石炭発電所は2036年までに引退しなければならない。
また、同年までにすべての新車販売を電気自動車にする必要がある。現在、クィーンズランド州では、
住宅顧客の30％以上が屋上太陽光発電を導入しており、その総設備容量は4GWに迫り、2030年までに
倍増すると予想されている。
このプレゼンテーションでは、ネットワークの現状を概観し、クイーンズランド州の「すべてを電化する」
ミッションを支える配電網の役割を明らかにする。
