Important Notice

Amendment of “Author’s Guidelines for the Transactions of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan”

• Addition of provisions on conflict-of-interest statements and the time limit for filing appeals against rejection decisions (Revised and effective April 2026)
  
  Although statements regarding conflicts of interest had previously been included in the main text at the authors’ discretion, the Author’s Guidelines have now been revised to explicitly state that such information may be included ([2] 5.2). In addition, the time limit for filing an appeal when the authors are unable to accept the reasons for rejection has been specified as within 20 days from the date of notification of the rejection ([3] 3(5)).

Support Plan

We provide a support plan for overseas authors with special circumstances. You may be invoiced at the reduced rates of a publishing fee in case of difficulty of payment, even if you are not a member of IEEJ.
Please fill in the following necessary items on the free-format application form and upload on “Contact to IEEJ Secretary” of “IEEJ Paper Management System” at the initial submission. Candidates may receive the notification of adopting this plan in the beginning of fiscal year when your paper will be published.
